Trelawney's outline, as it is today, is marked on the 1840 tithe map and is undoubtedly considerably older than that. Today’s Trelawney Barn makes a comfortable and spacious home-from-home for six.
Enter into the big hall (with grandfather clock), and through to the fully-equipped oak kitchen with stone floor and farmhouse kitchen table. The large sitting room has a beautiful polished wood floor, wool rugs, antiques, freeview TV, hifi, comfortable armchairs and sofas and a large inglenook fireplace with glass-fronted log burner. French windows open onto your garden and overlook the river valley below.
There are 3 bedrooms upstairs. One with a king size four poster, one with a king size double bed and one with twin beds. All the bedrooms have fitted wool carpets and antique furniture. Upstairs, one bathroom has a bath and separate shower and the second is a shower room. Downstairs there is a third shower room.
Trelawney Barn has stunning views from the master bedroom, the sitting room and the walled garden across rolling hills to Looe and the river below.
With an outdoor playground, indoor playroom, our ‘indoor beach’, tennis court, swimming pool, woodland walks, picnic areas on the farm and pony club afternoons, you'll struggle to tear the kids away.
Treworgey’s 150 acre farm faces south overlooking the beautiful Looe River Valley with wonderful country views, only a few minutes by car to the sea, beach and the spectacular South West Coast Path.
For old-fashioned romantics, take your luxury honeymoon in an idyllic cottage with extra flowers, champagne and chocolates, secluded garden and log fire.
Get away with the kids - Children can run free around the fields and woods, help to feed the friendly farm animals and ride our ponies.
For riders, our licensed riding school offers fun, professionally taught lessons and hacking through beautiful countryside.
If you're bringing your dog, Treworgey is perfect. Every cottage has an enclosed gardens and an abundance of good walks, right from your garden gate.
